Life insurance Gift

David and Carol Jones have created a legacy at ETSU that began in 1981 but will continue on forever. They were married with two sons when David first came to ETSU as student in January of 1981 on the G.I. Bill after having served three years in the U.S. Army and four years in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. The young family moved into the Married Student Housing Area, where David became the Resident Assistant in the spring of 1981. He graduated with his B.A.A. in the spring of 1986 and continued his employment with Housing and Resident Life. He was later promoted to Assistant Director of Housing and Resident Life, where he remained until his retirement in November of 2004.

Both of David and Carol's sons attended ETSU, with one going on to earn a Masters of Computer Engineering and one going on to earn his M.D. from the Quillen College of Medicine.
